Preparation
- Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, combine 320 grams of wheat flour, 160 grams of corn starch, and a pinch of salt.
- Add 220 grams of melted butter, 2 tablespoons of sour cream or yogurt, 1 egg yolk, and 2 tablespoons of milk.
- Mix well until a dough forms.
- Let the dough cool in the fridge for 10 minutes.
- Prepare the Filling: Chop 200 grams of walnuts.
- Mix the chopped walnuts with 150 grams of raisins.
- Assemble the Pastries: Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).
- Take the dough out of the fridge and divide it into equal portions.
- Roll each portion into a small circle, about 10 cm in diameter.
- Place a small amount of the walnut and raisin mixture in the center of each circle.
- Fold the dough over the filling to create a sealed pastry.
- Bake: Place the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Prepare the Syrup: Mix honey with warm water to create a syrup.
- Finish and Serve: Once the pastries are baked, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.
- Drizzle the honey syrup over the warm pastries.
- Serve and enjoy!
