Preparation
- Preheat the Oven Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). The high heat helps to make the fries crispy.
- Prepare the Potatoes Slice the peeled potatoes into thin fries, about 1 cm (0.4 inches) thick. Keep them uniform for even cooking.
- Season the Potatoes Place the potato slices in a large bowl. Add 1 tablespoon mayonnaise and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Toss well to evenly coat.
- Sprinkle 50 g grated Parmesan cheese over the seasoned potatoes. Toss again to coat the fries evenly.
- Arrange on a Baking Tray Line a baking tray with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Spread the coated potato slices in a single layer, ensuring they don’t overlap for even cooking.
- Bake the Fries Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy. Flip the fries halfway through for even browning.
- Serve Remove from the oven, cool slightly, and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces like ketchup, aioli, or ranch dressing.
