- Prepare the Apple Filling: In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the diced apples, 2 tablespoons of sugar, cinnamon, and honey. Cook for about 5 minutes until the apples soften and become fragrant. Set aside and let the filling cool.
- Prepare the Dough: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the egg, a pinch of salt, vanilla sugar, and 60 grams of sugar until smooth. Add the cornstarch, oil, and yogurt, mixing well to combine.
- Add Dry Ingredients: Gradually sift in the flour and baking powder. Mix until a soft dough forms, but be careful not to overwork it.
- Assemble the Pastries: Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface until it's about 1/4 inch thick. Cut the dough into squares or circles. Place a spoonful of the apple filling in the center of each piece. Fold the edges over to seal the filling inside.
- Bake: Preheat your oven to 180°C (360°F). Place the pastries on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for approximately 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve: Let the pastries cool slightly before dusting with soft sugar. Enjoy them warm or at room temperature.
