Ingredients:

  • 1 Carrot, diced
  • 1 Onion, diced
  • Olive oil for frying
  • 1 Bell pepper, diced
  • 450g Minced meat (beef, pork, or a mix)
  • 1 cup (250ml) Tomato sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2-3 Potatoes, sliced
  • Mozzarella cheese, shredded

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C (360°F).
  2. Prepare the Vegetables: Dice the carrot, onion, and bell pepper. Set aside.
  3. Fry Onions and Carrots: In a large pan, heat some olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onions and carrots, and fry until they start to soften.
  4. Add Peppers: Add the diced bell pepper to the pan and continue to fry for a few minutes.
  5. Cook the Minced Meat: Add the minced meat to the pan. Break it apart with a spatula and cook until it’s browned, about 15 minutes.
