Ingredients:

  • 450g (1 lb) lean ground meat
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped
  • 8 eggs
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 170g (6 oz) Cheddar cheese, grated
  • Parsley (optional), for garnish

 

Directions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shallot and cook until translucent, about 2 minutes.
  2. Add the ground meat to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
