  • 2 slices of fluffy bread
  • Ham slices
  • Cheese slices (your choice of cheese)
  • 100g mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 egg, at room temperature
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley, for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise (optional)
  • Garlic Butter Spread:
    • 12g butter, softened
    • 2/3 teaspoon minced garlic
    • 1 tablespoon honey

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (355°F).
  2. Prepare the toast: Place a slice of cheese on one slice of bread. Add a layer of ham slices, then another slice of cheese. Top with the second slice of bread. Use a cup to press down in the center of the bread to create a well for the egg.
  3. Add the egg: Carefully crack the egg into the center well of the bread. Season with a little salt and pepper.
