  • 2 fillets Salmon wild-caught sockeye or Atlantic salmon works best
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
For the Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter can be reduced for a lighter option
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup Chicken Broth or vegetable broth for a lighter option
  • 1/2 cup Dry White Wine optional
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons Capers
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley chopped
  • 2 slices Lemon

Preparation
  1. Season your salmon fillets generously with salt and black pepper. Dredge each fillet lightly in all-purpose flour.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the salmon for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  3. Remove the salmon and melt unsalted butter in the same skillet. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth, dry white wine, lemon juice, and capers. Let the mixture simmer until it thickens slightly.
  5. Return the seared salmon to the skillet and spoon the lemon-caper sauce over each fillet. Garnish with parsley and lemon slices.
