How to Make Ground Beef and Broccoli
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add broccoli and cook for 3-4 minutes until vibrant and tender-crisp. Remove and set aside to keep it fresh.
- In the same skillet, add ground beef and minced garlic. Cook for 5-6 minutes, breaking the beef into small pieces until mostly browned. Drain any excess fat to keep it lean.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, ground ginger, red pepper flakes, and black pepper until smooth.
- Pour the prepared sauce over the browned beef. Cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly and coat the beef nicely.
- Return broccoli to the skillet, tossing everything together to coat well in the sauce. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes
Timing is key. Start cooking rice or noodles before the stir fry to ensure everything finishes at once. Leftovers can be kept in the fridge for 3-4 days.
