Cooking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together hoisin sauce, soy sauce, honey, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, Chinese five-spice powder, and sesame oil until combined.
- Place your chicken thighs in a resealable bag. Pour half of the marinade over the chicken, seal the bag tightly, and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours or overnight.
- After marinating, let the chicken sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Lay the chicken on a baking sheet lined with foil.
- Bake the chicken in your preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- In a saucepan, take the reserved marinade and bring it to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, or until it thickens.
- Once cooked, brush your chicken with the thickened marinade and place it under the broiler for 2-3 minutes.
- After broiling, let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing and serve warm.
