  • Cabbage – 17.5 oz (500g), finely chopped
  • Onion – 1 small, finely chopped
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon for boiling cabbage
  • Eggs – 3 large
  • Thyme – 1/2 teaspoon
  • All-purpose flour – 3-4 tablespoons about 25-30g
  • Yogurt – 1/4 cup 60g
  • Garlic – 1 clove, minced
  • Dill – 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt and pepper – to taste
  • Oil – for frying

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prepare the Cabbage: Finely chop the cabbage and boil in salted water for 10 minutes.
  2. Drain well and let cool.
  3. Prepare the Fritter Mixture: In a large bowl, beat the eggs. Add the cooled cabbage, chopped onion, thyme, flour, and season with salt and pepper. Mix well. Let the mixture rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, combine the yogurt, garlic, dill, salt, and pepper to taste.
  5. Cook the Fritters: Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Spoon the cabbage mixture into the pan and cook each fritter for 3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
  6. Serve: Serve the fritters hot with the yogurt sauce.
