  • 1 cup Queso Cheese Try Monterey Jack or cheddar.
  • 1 Onion Diced.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 tbsp Paprika Smoked paprika adds deeper flavor.
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tbsp Chili Powder Adjust based on heat preference.
  • 1 Bell Pepper Diced.
  • to taste Salt Essential seasoning.
  • to taste Pepper Essential seasoning.
Optional Toppings
  • to taste Fresh Cilantro For garnishing.
  • 1 cup Sour Cream For serving.
  • 1 Avocado Slices For serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by dicing the onion and bell pepper, and mincing the garlic to have everything ready.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the sirloin steak for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
  2. Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing it thinly.
  3. In the same skillet, add the diced onion and bell pepper, sautéing for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  4. Stir in the cooked long-grain white rice along with paprika, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Lower the heat and gradually add queso cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.
  6. Toss the sliced steak with the cheesy rice mixture and serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro, sour cream, and avocado slices.
