How to Make No Chill Chocolate Chip Cookies
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Beat the cold butter in a mixing bowl until it’s broken apart. Next, add the granulated and brown sugars to cream together.
  3. Incorporate the eggs one at a time and pour in the vanilla extract, mixing well until everything is smoothly combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt) while mixing on low speed.
  5. Fold in the semisweet chocolate chips gently using a rubber spatula.
  6. Roll the dough into 4-ounce mounds, about 13 cookies total, and place them on a parchment-lined jelly roll pan.
  7. Garnish each mound with broken pieces of milk chocolate wafers.
  8. Bake for 14-15 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Cool the cookies on the sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.
