  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract almond extract can be used instead
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda acts as leavening agent
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt omit if using salted butter
  • 2 3/4 cups All-Purpose Flour whole wheat flour may alter texture
  • 1 bag Chocolate Chips about 2 cups, can swap for white chocolate
For the Color
  • Food Coloring Orange and brown, use gel colors for vibrant tones

How to Make Marble Chocolate Chip Cookies
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar for 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy.
  2. Integrate the eggs and vanilla extract into your creamed mixture, mixing for an additional 3 minutes.
  3. Gradually blend in the baking soda and salt, then slowly add the all-purpose flour until fully incorporated.
  4. Separate the dough into three equal parts.
  5. Using food coloring, tint two of the portions orange and brown, and mix in 1/3 of the chocolate chips into each.
  6. Form 2 oz. dough balls by combining the colored doughs, press slightly before placing on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 8-10 minutes until edges are golden brown.
