Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your loaf pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Combine ground beef, Lipton Onion Soup Mix, eggs, plain breadcrumbs, water, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl. Mix until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and transfer it to your prepared loaf pan.
  4. Spread ketchup or BBQ sauce over the top for a glaze.
  5. Bake uncovered for 55-65 minutes, checking with a meat thermometer to ensure it reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. Rest the meatloaf for 10 minutes after baking to allow juices to redistribute.
