How to Make Lavender Chocolate Chip Cookies
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and baking powder until well combined.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the softened salted butter with light brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Mix in the egg, vanilla extract, and lavender extract until pale and fluffy.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the semisweet chocolate chips and lavender chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop 2-tablespoon portions of dough, rolling them into balls, and space them about 3 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-11 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. After removing from the oven, sprinkle more chocolate chips on top and flaky sea salt. Allow cooling.
