How to Make Lavender Chocolate Chip Cookies
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and baking powder until well combined.
- In a large bowl, cream the softened salted butter with light brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the egg, vanilla extract, and lavender extract until pale and fluffy.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Gently fold in the semisweet chocolate chips and lavender chocolate chips.
- Scoop 2-tablespoon portions of dough, rolling them into balls, and space them about 3 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-11 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- After removing from the oven, sprinkle more chocolate chips on top and flaky sea salt. Allow cooling.
