How to Make Kit Kat Cookies
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the whole egg and egg yolk until well incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped Kit Kat bars.
- Scoop large spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space for spreading.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are set.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
