Garlic Butter Steak Bites

  • 1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp (28g) butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) beef broth
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Season steak bites with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add steak bites and sear until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. Sauté garlic in the same skillet until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  5. Deglaze the skillet with beef broth, scraping up browned bits.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Simmer until thickened, 3-5 minutes.
  7. Return steak bites to the skillet and coat with the sauce.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
