- Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into even-sized pieces, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Soak the cut potatoes in a bowl of cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
- After soaking, drain and pat the potatoes dry with a clean kitchen towel or paper towels.
- Transfer the dried potatoes to a dry bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss until evenly coated.
- Season with salt and your chosen seasonings. Toss again to ensure all pieces are well-seasoned.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) if necessary.
- Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket or stirring halfway through for even cooking.
- Once golden brown and crispy, remove the potatoes from the air fryer and adjust seasoning if needed.
