  • 20 grams Pumpkin Seeds Use as 'fingernails'
For the Marinara Sauce
  • 28 oz Crushed or Pureed Tomatoes Forms the base for dipping sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning Infuses essential flavor
  • 2 cloves Fresh Garlic, Minced Can substitute with garlic powder
  • 2 tsp Brown Sugar Balances acidity
  • 1/2 tsp Salt Adjust to taste
  • 1 Tbsp Chopped Fresh Basil Can use dried basil

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the mozzarella stick packaging, usually around 400°F.
  2. Shape each mozzarella stick by trimming the top with a knife to resemble a fingernail.
  3. Press a pumpkin seed firmly into the top of each mozzarella stick.
  4. Arrange the decorated mozzarella sticks on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Bake them as directed on the packaging until they are golden and crispy, about 8-10 minutes.
Sauce Preparation
  1. Combine the crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, minced garlic, brown sugar, and salt in a medium pot.
  2. Simmer the sauce on medium-low heat for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Stir in the fresh basil after removing the sauce from heat.
Serving
  1. Serve your witch fingers with the marinara sauce for dipping.
