How to Make Cream Cheese Cinnamon Swirl Banana Bread
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, mash the overripe bananas until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, blend together the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and egg until smooth, then fold in the mashed bananas and vegetable oil.
- In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- In a small bowl, stir together the remaining sugar and cinnamon for the swirl.
- Pour half of the batter into the greased pan, sprinkle in half of the cinnamon sugar mixture, then add the remaining batter and finish with the rest of the cinnamon sugar sprinkled on top.
- Place the loaf pan in the oven and bake for about 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Once baked, allow the bread to cool completely in the pan before slicing.
