Muffin Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a muffin tin with liners or non-stick spray.
- In a bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, and chai spices for streusel. Mix with cold butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and chai spices for the batter.
- In a separate bowl, whisk sugar and melted butter; add eggs, milk, and vanilla.
- Fold wet mixture into dry ingredients, mixing gently.
- Fold in diced apples.
- Fill muffin cups ¾ full and sprinkle with streusel.
- Bake for 22-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
