- Mix the dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine 250 grams of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir to ensure that the dry ingredients are evenly mixed.
- Add the butter: Cut 90 grams of cold butter into small cubes and add it to the flour mixture. Using your fingers or a pastry cutter, rub the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. You want to avoid overworking the dough so that it remains light and tender.
