Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bites

  • 1 can (8–12 oz) refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing included
  • 2 large eggs
  • 60 ml milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • Powdered sugar optional, for serving
  • Maple syrup or reserved cinnamon roll icing optional, for serving

Preparation
  1. Open the can of cinnamon rolls and set the icing aside for now. Slice each roll into 4–6 bite-size pieces.
  2. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until uniform.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and add the butter. Once melted and foaming, reduce heat slightly.
  4. Dip each cinnamon roll piece into the egg batter, coating all sides, then place in the pan in a single layer.
  5. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through, turning carefully with a spatula.
  6. Transfer bites to a plate and immediately drizzle with reserved icing or maple syrup. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy the irresistible cinnamon sweetness!
