- Season the chicken: Combine the chicken breast with onion powder, garlic powder, parsley, paprika, salt, and olive oil. Mix thoroughly to coat the chicken evenly with the spices.
- Prepare the vegetables: Finely chop the red bell pepper and onion, either in a food processor or by hand. Mix them into the seasoned chicken mixture.
- Prepare the puff pastry: Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a floured surface. Place the chicken and vegetable mixture evenly on the pastry sheets.
- Shape and freeze: Roll the pastry tightly with the filling inside. Place the rolls in the freezer for 30 minutes to firm up.
- Prepare the egg wash: Beat the egg yolk with the milk and brush it over the pastry rolls. Optionally, sprinkle with poppy seeds or sesame seeds.
- Bake: Preheat the oven to 190°C (374°F). Bake the puff pastry rolls for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Let cool slightly before serving.
