- Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure a perfectly baked meatloaf.
- Sauté Vegetables: In a skillet, warm olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onion and green bell pepper for 4-5 minutes until softened. Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute; let cool.
- Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix ground beef, ground pork, sautéed veggies, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, Cajun seasoning, black pepper, cayenne, Worcestershire sauce, and 1/4 cup ketchup until just combined.
- Shape the Loaf: Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place on a greased baking sheet or in a loaf pan.
- Prepare the Glaze: In a separate bowl, mix the remaining ketchup, brown sugar, and Creole mustard. Spread this glaze over the meatloaf.
