Ingredients:

  • 600 g beef, cut into chunks
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 bell peppers (paprika), chopped
  • 500 ml chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Paprika, to taste
  • Dried basil, to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

 

Directions:

  1. Heat a large pan or pot over medium heat and add a bit of vegetable oil.
  2. Add the beef chunks and brown them on all sides. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add the onions, carrots, and bell peppers. Cook until they start to soften.
  4. Return the beef to the pan and add the chopped tomatoes and tomato paste. Stir everything together.
