Description

This Crispy Zucchini with Garlic Soy Sauce is a savory and flavorful dish that combines the mild sweetness of zucchini with a crispy, golden coating and a fragrant garlic soy sauce. It’s an easy, quick recipe that makes a perfect snack, appetizer, or side dish for any meal.

Ingredients

  • Zucchinis: 2, sliced
  • Salt: to taste
  • Sweet Paprika: 1 tsp
  • Flour: 1 tbsp
  • Vegetable Oil: for frying
  • Soy Sauce: 1 tbsp
  • Garlic: 1 clove, minced
  • Dill: to taste, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Zucchini:
    • Slice the zucchinis into thin rounds and sprinkle with salt. Let them sit for a few minutes to draw out excess moisture, then pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. Coat the Zucchini:
    • In a small bowl, mix the sweet paprika and flour. Coat each zucchini slice in the flour mixture, ensuring an even layer on both sides.
  3. Fry the Zucchini:
    • In a pan, heat a generous amount of vegetable oil over medium heat.
    • Fry the coated zucchini slices in the hot oil until they’re golden brown and crispy on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
    • Remove from the pan and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  4. Prepare the Garlic Soy Sauce:
    • In a separate pan, add a small amount of oil if needed, then sauté the minced garlic and chopped dill in the soy sauce over low heat for about a minute, until fragrant.
  5. Serve:
    • Arrange the crispy zucchini slices on a serving plate and drizzle with the garlic soy sauce. Serve hot for the best flavor and texture.
