Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 3 large eggs
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp sweet paprika
  • 1/2 white cabbage (approx. 2 cups or 300 g), thinly sliced
  • 2 chicken fillets (approx. 1 lb or 450 g), cut into thin strips
  • 4 tablespoons flour (1/4 cup or 30 g)
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1–2 tbsp butter (15–30 g)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1–2 medium carrots (approx. 1 cup or 100 g), thinly sliced
  • 2–3 tbsp vegetable oil (30–45 ml)

Dill Yogurt Sauce:

  • 150 ml Greek yogurt (approx. 2/3 cup or 150 g)
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tomato, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sauce:
In a bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt, dill, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and tomato. Set aside in the refrigerator.
  2. Cook the Chicken:
Season chicken strips with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
Lightly coat each strip in flour.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the chicken, and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Set aside.
  3. Sauté the Vegetables:
In the same skillet, add a little more oil if needed. Sauté the onion, garlic, and carrots until they soften.
Add the sliced cabbage and cook until it becomes tender, about 5 minutes. Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  4. Cook the Eggs:
In a small pan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper and scramble until just set.
  5. Combine:
Add the chicken and scrambled eggs to the pan with the cabbage and vegetable mix. Stir well, adjust seasonings if necessary, and serve with a dollop of dill yogurt sauce.
