- 1/2 tsp sweet paprika
- 1/2 white cabbage (approx. 2 cups or 300 g), thinly sliced
- 2 chicken fillets (approx. 1 lb or 450 g), cut into thin strips
- 4 tablespoons flour (1/4 cup or 30 g)
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1–2 tbsp butter (15–30 g)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1–2 medium carrots (approx. 1 cup or 100 g), thinly sliced
- 2–3 tbsp vegetable oil (30–45 ml)
Dill Yogurt Sauce:
- 150 ml Greek yogurt (approx. 2/3 cup or 150 g)
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and black pepper (to taste)
- 1 tomato, finely chopped
Instructions
- Prepare the Sauce:
In a bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt, dill, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and tomato. Set aside in the refrigerator. - Cook the Chicken:
Season chicken strips with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
Lightly coat each strip in flour.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the chicken, and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Set aside. - Sauté the Vegetables:
In the same skillet, add a little more oil if needed. Sauté the onion, garlic, and carrots until they soften.
Add the sliced cabbage and cook until it becomes tender, about 5 minutes. Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika. - Cook the Eggs:
In a small pan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper and scramble until just set. - Combine:
Add the chicken and scrambled eggs to the pan with the cabbage and vegetable mix. Stir well, adjust seasonings if necessary, and serve with a dollop of dill yogurt sauce.
