  • 2 sausages (pork or your preferred type)
  • 24 rashers of back bacon (or streaky bacon)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup baked beans (canned)
  • 1 large tomato, halved
  • 46 mushrooms, halved or sliced
  • 2 slices of bread, for toasting (white or whole grain)
  • 1 hash brown (optional)
  • 12 tbsp butter or oil (for cooking)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat and Prepare: Set a large skillet or griddle on medium heat, adding a little butter or oil.
  • Cook the Sausages: Place the sausages in the skillet, turning occasionally until browned and cooked through, about 10 minutes. Once cooked, set aside and keep warm.
  • Fry the Bacon: In the same skillet, add the bacon rashers. Fry until crispy or until they reach your preferred doneness. Set aside with the sausages.
  • Sauté the Mushrooms: Add a bit more butter to the skillet if needed, then add the mushrooms. Sauté for about 5 minutes, or until tender and golden. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  • Grill the Tomato: Place the tomato halves cut-side down in the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes until softened and slightly charred. Set aside.
  • Prepare the Baked Beans: While the other ingredients are cooking, warm the baked beans in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Fry the Hash Browns (if using): In a separate small skillet, fry the hash browns until golden and crispy on both sides. Set aside.
  • Cook the Eggs: Add a little more butter to the skillet, if needed, and fry the eggs to your liking (sunny side up, over easy, or scrambled).
  • Toast the Bread: Toast the bread slices to your desired level. Spread with a bit of butter if desired.
  • Serve: Arrange everything on a large plate—sausages, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans, hash brown, and toast. Add black pudding slices if desired, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot with salt, pepper, and your favorite condiments.
