Ingredients
– 1.5 lbs ground beef
– 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
– 1/4 cup milk
– 1 large egg
– 1 small onion, finely diced
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
– 1 tsp salt
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
– 1 tsp Italian seasoning
– 1 cup shredded mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese
– 1 cup prepared brown gravy
– Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until well blended.
2. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
3. Remove from the oven, pour the gravy over the top, and sprinkle evenly with cheese.
4. Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
5. Let the meatloaf rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with parsley and serve.
