CHEESEBURGER TATER TOT CASSEROLE: A FAMILY-FAVORITE RECIPE

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup mustard
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of cheddar soup
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon (optional)
1/4 cup chopped dill pickles (optional)


Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
Cook ground beef and diced onion in a skillet over medium heat until beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
Stir in garlic powder, smoked paprika, ketchup, mustard, and cream of cheddar soup until well combined.
Spread the beef mixture evenly in the baking dish. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of shredded cheese on top.
Arrange tater tots in a single layer over the cheese. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bacon if using.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until tater tots are golden and crispy.
Garnish with chopped pickles before serving for a true cheeseburger vibe.
