Spicy Honey Garlic Chicken Wings: A Sweet and Savory Delight

  • Author: Kimberly

Ingredients

Units Scale

10–12 chicken wings (drummettes and flats)
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon sriracha or hot sauce (adjust to taste)
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped green onions for garnish
Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat up your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
2. Pat the chicken wings dry and season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
3. Bake wings in the oven for 25-30 minutes or air fry for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
4. While the wings cook, prepare the sauce: In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, sriracha, and apple cider vinegar. Simmer over medium heat for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sauce thickens.
5. Once the wings are cooked, toss them in the spicy honey garlic sauce until fully coated.
6. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
