Smoky Chipotle Jalapeño Cheeseburgers: A Bold and Spicy Delight

  • Author: Kimberly

Ingredients

– 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
– 4 brioche buns, toasted
– 4 slices of cheddar or pepper jack cheese
– 2 fresh jalapeños, sliced and charred
– 1 cup shredded lettuce
– 1/2 cup mayonnaise
– 1 tbsp chipotle sauce or smoked paprika
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

1. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Form the ground beef into 4 patties, season generously with salt and pepper, and set aside.
2. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and chipotle sauce (or smoked paprika) to create a smoky sauce. Set aside.
3. Heat olive oil in a pan and char the sliced jalapeños until softened and slightly blistered. Remove and set aside.
4. Grill or cook the beef patties for 3-4 minutes per side, adding a slice of cheese during the last minute of cooking to melt.
5. Assemble the burgers by spreading the smoky sauce on the bottom bun, adding shredded lettuce, the beef patty, charred jalapeños, and the top bun.
6. Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
