Ingredients
- Minced Meat: 800 g (28 oz)
- Eggs: 2
- Vegetable Oil: for frying
- Butter: 1 tbsp
- Onion: 1, finely chopped
- Garlic: 2 cloves, minced
- Parsley: 2 tbsp, chopped
- Salt: 1 tsp
- Black Pepper: to taste
- Smoked Paprika: 1 tsp
- Italian Herbs: 1 tsp
Instructions
- Prepare the Meat Mixture
- In a large mixing bowl, combine minced meat, eggs, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, Italian herbs, and chopped parsley.
- Add the finely chopped onion and minced garlic to the mixture, then mix everything thoroughly until well combined. Using your hands or a spatula, mix until the ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Shape the Patties
- Divide the meat mixture into even portions and shape each portion into patties. Aim for about 8-10 patties, depending on the size you prefer.
- Heat the Oil and Butter
- In a large skillet, heat a small amount of vegetable oil along with 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. The combination of oil and butter helps achieve a golden, crispy crust.
- Cook the Patties
- Place the patties in the skillet in a single layer (you may need to cook in batches). Cook each side for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Ensure the internal temperature reaches at least 160°F (71°C) for safe consumption if using ground beef, or follow the recommended temperature for the type of meat you’re using.
- Serve
- Remove the patties from the skillet and drain on a paper towel if needed. Serve hot with your favorite sides.
