  • Author: Kimberly

Ingredients

– 1 lb ground beef
– 2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
– 1 green bell pepper, diced
– 1 medium onion, chopped
– 3 garlic cloves, minced
– 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
– 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
– 2 cups beef broth
– 1 tsp paprika
– 1 tsp Italian seasoning
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. In a large pot or Dutch oven, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
2. Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the pot. Sauté for 3–4 minutes until softened.
3. Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil.
4. Add the uncooked macaroni to the pot. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
