Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
– 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
– 1 egg
– 2 garlic cloves, minced
– 2 tbsp soy sauce
– 1 tsp dried parsley
– Salt and pepper to taste
For the Sauce:
– 1/3 cup honey
– 1/4 cup soy sauce
– 2 garlic cloves, minced
– 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
– Chopped chives for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, soy sauce, parsley, salt, and pepper. Form into 1-inch meatballs and arrange on the baking sheet.
3. Bake for 15-18 minutes, until cooked through.
4. While the meatballs bake, prepare the sauce. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, soy sauce, and garlic. Bring to a simmer.
5. Stir in the cornstarch mixture and cook until the sauce thickens.
6. Toss the cooked meatballs in the sauce until fully coated.
7. Serve warm, garnished with chopped chives.
