Decadent Banana Bread Pudding Recipe: A Comforting and Irresistible Dessert

Ingredients

– 4 cups cubed stale bread (challah or brioche works best)
– 2 ripe bananas, mashed
– 3 eggs
– 2 cups milk
– 1/2 cup sugar
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
– 1/4 tsp nutmeg
– 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
– 1/2 cup caramel sauce
– Sliced bananas for garnish


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish and spread the cubed bread evenly inside.
2. In a bowl, whisk together mashed bananas, eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Pour the mixture over the bread, pressing gently to soak the bread.
3. Bake for 40–45 minutes until golden and set in the center.
4. Drizzle with caramel sauce and top with sliced bananas and walnuts before serving.
