Description
– 2 lbs ground beef
– 1 small onion, diced
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1/2 cup ketchup
– 1/4 cup mayonnaise
– 1/4 cup sour cream
– 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
– 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
– 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
Ingredients
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until the beef is browned and the onion is softened. Drain excess fat.
3. Season with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir in ketchup and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
4. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, and 1/2 cup shredded cheese. Spread this mixture over the cooked beef in the skillet or transfer beef to the baking dish first, then spread.
5. Top with the remaining shredded cheese and crumbled bacon.
6. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
7. Let rest for 5 minutes, sprinkle with parsley, and serve warm.
