  • Author: Kimberly

Ingredients

– 1 lb ziti or penne pasta
– 1 lb ground beef
– 3 cups marinara sauce
– 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1 cup ricotta cheese
– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat, then stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
3. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked pasta with the meat sauce. Stir in ricotta cheese and half of the mozzarella.
4. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
