Description
Ingredients
– 12 oz spaghetti
– 1 lb ground beef
– 1 small onion, finely chopped
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 cups marinara sauce
– 1 cup ricotta cheese
– 1/2 cup sour cream
– 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1 tbsp olive oil
– Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a large baking dish.
2. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Add the chopped onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Stir in the marinara sauce and let simmer for 5 minutes.
6. In a large bowl, combine the ricotta cheese and sour cream, then add the cooked spaghetti and mix until coated.
7. Spread half of the spaghetti mixture in the baking dish, then top with half of the meat sauce. Sprinkle 3/4 cup of mozzarella cheese over the layer.
8. Add the remaining spaghetti mixture, followed by the rest of the meat sauce. Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
9. Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
