Ingredients
all-purpose flour (2 cups)
granulated sugar (1/4 cup)
baking powder (2 teaspoons)

milk (3/4 cup)
unsalted butter, melted (2 tablespoons)
egg (1 large)
vanilla extract (1 teaspoon)
For the glaze:
powdered sugar (1 cup)
maple syrup (1/2 cup)
milk (1-2 tablespoons, as needed)
pecans, chopped (1/2 cup)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a donut pan.
2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
3. In another bowl, mix milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
4. Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each mold about ¾ full.
5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until donuts are lightly golden and spring back when touched. Let cool completely before glazing.
6. For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, maple syrup, and milk until smooth. Dip each donut into the glaze, then sprinkle with chopped pecans.
7. Let the glaze set for a few minutes before serving.
