BACON CHEESEBURGER TATER TOT CASSEROLE: THE ULTIMATE COMFORT FOOD RECIPE

Ingredients

– 1 lb ground beef
– 1/2 onion, diced
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
– 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
– 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
– 1/2 cup sour cream
– 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
– 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
– 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional)


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
2. In a skillet, cook ground beef and diced onion over medium heat until beef is browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
3. Stir in garlic powder, smoked paprika, cream of mushroom soup, and sour cream until well combined.
4. Spread the beef mixture evenly in the baking dish. Top with 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheese, then arrange tater tots in a single layer on top.
5. Sprinkle crumbled bacon and remaining cheese over the tater tots.
6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until tater tots are golden and cheese is bubbly.
7. Garnish with chopped green onions, if desired, and serve warm.
