Avocado Bacon Grilled Cheese: A Gooey and Indulgent Comfort Food

4 slices of thick-cut bread
4 slices of cooked crispy bacon
1 ripe avocado, sliced
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or your favorite melting cheese)
2 tablespoons softened butter
Salt and black pepper to taste


Instructions

1. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
2. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place one slice of bread, butter-side down, onto the skillet.
3. Layer shredded cheese, bacon slices, and avocado on top. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper.
4. Add another layer of cheese before topping with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
5. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, pressing gently with a spatula, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
6. Remove from skillet, let it cool slightly, and slice in half.
